ACTIVITIES
In addition to our regular services and group prayer times, we run a range of other activities designed to meet the needs of our church and local community. For more information about any of our activities, just get in touch using the contact page. We have a comprehensive child protection policy and all our activity leaders are DBS checked.
Explorers
Sunday Mornings 11am - 12.30pm
Each Sunday we run our Explorers Sunday School alongside our morning service. We spend the first 20 minutes in the main service, then kids aged 4 - 12 are welcome to join us as we explore the Bible together. The sessions include activities, crafts, singing and learning together in a fun environment.
Creche
Sunday Mornings 11am - 12.30pm
Each Sunday we run our creche for parents with babies and toddlers, alongside our morning service. We encourage everyone to spend the first 20 minutes of our service together and then parents who wish, can bring their children to the creche for games, reading and napping! Feel free to drop your children off and return to the main service.
Gateway
Tuesdays 2.00pm - 3.30pm
Gateway is our regular weekly meeting for older women. Each week the group meets for friendship, fellowship and light refreshments. A speaker will bring a talk, either from the Bible or about another interesting subject such as mission or local history.
Venture Tots
Thursdays 9.30am - 11.00am
Our group for parents and toddlers runs each Thursday. Join us for nibbles and friendship while the toddlers enjoy free play time in our kids area. At different times in the year we’ll do crafts, songs and games.
Pastoral Support & Discipleship
Our elders are available to provide pastoral support and guidance as needed. We offer a Christianity Explored course to those wanting to find out more about the Christian faith; either on a one to one basis or in a small group setting.
We encourage discipleship and there are a variety of ways we encourage Christians to grow in their faith including through home groups, our Christianity Explained course and other bible studies and fellowship.
Men's Breakfast
Monthly Saturday Mornings
Our men regularly get together at the church building on Saturday mornings to enjoy a hearty full English breakfast! Someone will give a short talk from the Bible, there is the opportunity to pray together and have discussions around a wide range of interesting topics and questions.
